Yes: fifty answers per calendar month with no card. Indefinitely. That covers the typical founder model-and-iterate cycle for most stages. The card only enters when you cross fifty in a month and want to keep going.
The API returns HTTP 402 (Payment Required) with a structured `spend_cap_reached` payload. Your agent will surface this and your modeling halts until the next calendar month or until you raise the cap from the billing portal.

Yes: remove your payment method from the Stripe portal at any time. Your account stays open at the free tier (50 answers/month). Your model JSON files stay on your disk and are yours to keep.
