A Mac version is planned. There’s no release date yet. desk doesn’t run in a phone’s browser.

Install on Windows.

  1. Use the email address that received your invitation to sign in. Open the sign-in email in the same browser.
  2. From your account, open the download page. It shows the available installer, version and file checksum.
  3. Read the installation notes before running the installer. The current preview is unsigned; the download page explains the Windows prompt.
  4. Open the application and sign in. Your browser will ask you to approve the device.

Windows 10 or 11. Solving a model needs an internet connection and an account signed in on that device. See support and known limitations.

Bring one decision.

Start with something you need to understand: how hiring sooner could change cash over the coming months, for example.

  1. Create a new model. Choose its time period and currency.
  2. Describe the business and the decision. Give the agent the assumptions you have, and ask it to identify what’s missing.
  3. Inspect the proposed assumptions and formulas before accepting them. Estimated inputs still need your judgment.
  4. Change one assumption. Follow its effect through the model and compare the results over time.
  5. Save the model and hand off an Excel workbook. Inspect the workbook’s Checks sheet for any static cells.

Return to the saved model when an assumption changes. Update it and make the next handoff from the same model.

Excel is a one-way handoff. Edits in the workbook don’t return to the model. Importing an existing Excel or CSV file isn’t available in this preview.
