What 0.1 does

build a model from scratch with the agent · see what drives every number · compare base, upside and downside · hand off a live Excel workbook, with any static cells listed on its Checks sheet · save, close, reopen and update.

What it doesn't do yet

Mac or web · importing from Excel or CSV · charts · a signed installer (Windows asks you to confirm) · team accounts · calculating offline.

Where flatland is going

flatland becomes the place where a decision's whole reasoning lives: the model, the sources behind it, the alternatives you tried, and what you decided and why. You can come back months later, even offline, and pick up where you left off.

What we promise during the preview

your model is a file you keep, in a versioned format we will carry forward · every number comes from the engine, never from the AI · the data statement below.

Your model is a file on your computer, and flatland never stores it. When you compute, the model is sent to flatland's servers, calculated in memory, and discarded; we do not log its contents. When you use the agent, the model's structure, values, and your conversation are sent through flatland to the AI provider to generate proposals, and flatland keeps only your account, your plan, and what the agent cost.
